Based on the informal survey of favorite Christmas songs during the LT2, FOB’s Yule Shoot Your Eye Out placed first with a whopping 11 votes with Himig ng Hangin in second place with 10 votes and Diwa ng Pasko tied with Jingle Bells at third place with 8 votes apiece.

5 votes – Last Christmas, What Child is This?, and White Christmas

4 votes – Give Love on Christmas Day and Pasko Na, Sinta Ko

  1. The first 10 or so songs sounds like a rundown from the two albums of my favourite Christmas-carol singer: Neil Diamond.

    I am from South Africa. As we are in the Southern Hemisphere, we celebrate Christmas during summer of course. We have a carol here called Somerkersfees, which has become very popular. It was written by a singer-songwriter and poet, Koos du Plessis, who died in 1984. A few weeks ago I decided to translate the song into English.
